It is very edifying to read in the writings of Teresa of Jesus of the Andes, the first Chilean Blessed, the testimony of her “mad” love for Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus was, in fact, the absolute center of Teresa, her reason for existing, the powerful spring of her deep and authentic apostolic spirit, so evident in her letters.
We could say that the message and Christian witness that Teresa of the Andes has left in Chile has a great and permanent value, especially because it points to what is central to our faith, to what is the basis of everything else, and from where you should look and value the rest.
