Quote of the day, 10 March: Venerable María Antonia

I had a crucifix of medium height in my room, and while I was looking at it—with my fears and doubts as to whether I would be able to resist the enemy or if because of my weakness, I would allow myself to fall prey to his wiles—it seemed to me that His Divine Majesty spoke these words to me from the cross:

“Turn away from the occasions when you can offend me, and follow me.”

I remember well the words “follow me;” as for the others, they were in substance what was said, although I do not remember well the way His Divine Majesty said them to me, although I do remember the effects they had on my soul.

  1. Our only reason for living is to follow Jesus. Follow his heart, follow his love, follow his peace, grace, guidance, hope, courage, joy and wisdom. He sits upon your throne, the throne of your heart. Invite him onto the throne. Worship him, Love him, Cherish Him.
