Our Reverend Mother is so good that she understands the loneliness of your heart and is letting me come to tell you that my soul will be even more closely united with yours right now, and that, in the unity of the same faith and love, we’ll find in God those dear departed ones who have gone on ahead of us.
Never have I felt them so present; you see, my dear Mama, they’re so happy that I’m in Carmel, for Carmel is so close to Heaven, it’s Heaven in faith! When you hear the bell ring for the Office of the Dead, let your soul be united with mine; do everything I do with me, it’s all arranged with God!
Today the Master said, “Blessed are those who weep for they will be comforted” in Heaven (Mt 5:4), “He will wipe every tear from their eyes” (Rev 7:17).
