For all those who worked for the love of God and love of neighbor in the holy Church and in the world of the refugees, and for all that I owe them, may the merciful God reward them with his crown of glory.

Saint Raphael Kalinowski

Wspomnienia : 1835-1877
On November 26, 1877 Kalinowski was clothed in the brown habit of a Carmelite novice at the Discalced Carmelite friars’ Novitiate House in Graz, Austria, and was given the name Raphael of St. Joseph, the name by which he would henceforth be known. Learn more about this final, fruitful stage of his life as a Discalced Carmelite friar.
