The believer believes and doubts at the same time, but God rejoices when we raise doubts and ask Him questions. Many times things don’t happen the way we imagined them, events happen that we don’t understand, the most clear-cut certainties fall apart, and when everything is going well, suddenly it seems that the world is turning against us. In these situations, we have to be sincere with God and ask him questions, share with him our confusion, and express our doubts. This is the way faith works.
