We simply need to pray diligently for each other, to sacrifice, and to continue carrying the cross in patience and devotion to God.

Quote of the day: 31 October

A positive succinctness worthy of our Holy Father himself. I thought he had written it until I saw the name. A true son.
He began serving Masses at the Discalced Carmelite monastery in Würzburg as a boy, so his exposure to Teresian and Sanjuanist spirituality began in his youth and continued from there. As a member of the third order of the Teresian Carmel, we can imagine that his spiritual reading consisted of Teresa, John, St Therese, Brother Lawrence, and whatever other Carmelite luminaries had been translated into German.
Thank you. It shows. I have read them myself, too.
