If sometimes I shed tears
My joy is to hide them well
Oh! how suffering has its charms
When you know how to veil it with flowers!
I’m willing to suffer without saying it
So that Jesus may be consoled
My joy is to see him smile
When my heart is exiled….
Novena Prayer
St. Therese of the Child Jesus,
remember your promise to do good on earth;
send your shower of roses in abundance
on those who call upon you,
and obtain for us from God the graces
we are waiting to receive from His infinite goodness.
Amen.
