The doctrine of Teresa of Avila shines through the charisms of truth, fidelity to the Catholic faith, and usefulness for the formation of souls. And we could highlight in a particular way another charism, that of wisdom, which makes us think of the most attractive and at the same time most mysterious aspect of St. Teresa’s doctorate, that is, the influence of divine inspiration on this prodigious and mystical writer.
Saint Paul VI
Proclamation of Saint Teresa of Jesus as Doctor of the Church
Homily, 27 September 1970
Quote of the day: 27 June

At your service, Joe.
