On Tuesday, 18 December 1906, Mother Germaine of Jesus, the prioress of the Carmel of Dijon, signed the circular letter that was sent to all of the Discalced Carmelite monasteries in France and beyond, telling the story of the life, death, and holiness of Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity.
