St. Elizabeth of the Trinity was a 19th c. Discalced Carmelite nun from Dijon, France whose unique insight was her spiritual doctrine of the indwelling of the Holy Trinity in our souls. Her nickname was “Laudem Gloriae” because her sole desire was to be a “praise of God’s glory” on earth, as in heaven. She died at the age of 26 from Addison’s Disease, adrenal insufficiency.
